Union Spaces supports the bespoke online student journey for the University of Cumbria

The University of Cumbria has launched its new online student journey using Union Spaces. Emma, Chris and Dan have worked closely with Carly Scott and her team to develop a bespoke approach to delivering their online student journey. Union Spaces have developed a platform to deliver this journey via a blend of live and on-demand events and services to support and enhance the unique needs of applicants to the University.

The Union Spaces approach to applicant conversion and retention is to build quality relationships and communities. We are supporting the University of Cumbria to facilitate connections between future students and their peers, future tutors and support network by designing responsible technology to enable online community and relationship building and embracing the privacy and safeguarding of its users.

Fully customisable, we provide end-to-end support and expert knowledge of virtual and hybrid event delivery to ensure that our clients’ events are strategic, provide value to both the university and future students, meet outcomes and keep conversations going long beyond event days, so students find that sense of belonging.

Carly Scott, Student Recruitment Manager (Recruitment Events) said;

We are excited to be working with the Union Spaces team to develop a bespoke approach to our online student journey and event delivery. Emma, Chris and their team have taken the time to fully understand our bespoke brief, to be able to develop a unique product that will enhance and support our whole student journey.  Their forward-thinking approach really fits with Cumbria and I’m excited to see where our next development phase can take us in supporting our student recruitment and conversion strategy.

Emma Darwin, Co-founder and CEO of Union Spaces said;

The University of Cumbria have been brilliant clients to work with and we are delighted to support them and their future student community in the application journey, through to enrolment.

We have worked with Cumbria to create an environment where applicants and offer holders can effortlessly start to feel they are part of the community which exists at the institution, of faculty, recruitment team members, student ambassadors and other candidates. This welcoming space, part of an end-to-end application process, creates a feeling of belonging for students, even when they can’t attend events or venues physically in person.

We are looking forward to working alongside Carly and the team, in hosting their forthcoming events!
